The 59th China International Furniture Fair (CIFF Guangzhou) will take place at Guangzhou Pazhou in two phases, from 18–21 March and 28–31 March 2027. Marking 30 years since the foundation of CIFF, the edition will be held under the theme “Power the Next” and will focus on the continuing transformation of furniture design, manufacturing and global trade.
Covering 850,000 square metres, CIFF Guangzhou will bring together the furniture industry across design, new lifestyles, advanced manufacturing and international business. The organisers intend to build on the results of the 57th edition in 2026, which attracted 353,106 professional visitors from 185 countries and regions, including a record 64,291 overseas attendees – an increase of 13.2% year on year. More than 5,100 brands from 36 countries and regions participated in that edition.
Intelligence and sustainability will be addressed across the 59th CIFF Guangzhou, covering smart homes and workplaces, advanced manufacturing, new materials, and more sustainable approaches to production and exhibition design.
Design and new lifestyles
During the first phase, Home Furniture will present products and solutions for contemporary living, including high-end design, whole-house customization, upholstery, living and dining furniture. Original design will remain a central focus through the Designer Sourcing Zone, which is intended to connect brands, designers, manufacturers and buyers more directly.
The programme will also address several developing areas of residential life, including smart furniture, healthy and elderly-friendly living, pet living and new retail. Homedecor & Hometextile will showcase interior decoration and textile solutions, while Outdoor Furniture, Sunshade & Leisure will focus on outdoor living, furniture, sunshade systems, materials and leisure products.
New scenarios for work and commercial spaces
The second phase will be dedicated to Office & Commercial Space, examining changes in workplaces and public environments. The section will focus on design, wellbeing, flexibility, smart technologies and sustainability, as well as the changing requirements of education and hospitality environments.
Among the topics covered will be integrated office solutions and seating, including a dedicated E-sports Seating Zone. The exhibition will present approaches to the ways people work, interact and use shared spaces, with an emphasis on adaptable and technology-supported environments.
Smart manufacturing and material innovation
Completing the furniture supply chain, CIFM/interzum guangzhou will bring together companies working in furniture machinery, hardware and materials. Automation, flexible production, smart home hardware and innovative materials will demonstrate how technology is influencing manufacturing efficiency, customization and product quality.
The section will also address the industry’s transition towards more sustainable production models, linking manufacturing technologies and material development with wider changes across the furniture supply chain.
Strengthening global connections
Internationalisation will remain a major part of CIFF Guangzhou’s strategy. Following the record overseas attendance in 2026, the fair plans to further develop relationships with international buyers, professional communities, industry associations, designers and media. Sourcing, matchmaking and networking opportunities will be expanded as part of this approach.
Online and offline initiatives will connect exhibitors and buyers before, during and after the fair. Through this model, CIFF Guangzhou aims to strengthen its role as a year-round platform for international trade and industry exchange.
Thirty years of evolution
Over three decades, CIFF has developed alongside the furniture industry and established a platform linking Design Trends, Global Trade and the Complete Supply Chain. Its activities now extend beyond the eight exhibition days through the “8+365” service model, which combines the physical fair with ongoing sourcing, matchmaking, industry insights and cross-border collaboration.
With “Power the Next”, the 59th CIFF Guangzhou will mark its 30-year history while focusing on new design cultures, smarter technologies, sustainable development, changing lifestyles and increasingly interconnected global markets.
