Upstream supply chain innovation emerges as strategic driver for furniture manufacturing

28-31 Mar 2026 • CIFM / interzum guangzhou

The 57th CIFF Guangzhou 2026 will reinforce the role of supply chain innovation and manufacturing technologies as central drivers of the global furniture industry’s transformation. Held during two phases in March 2026 — with CIFM / interzum guangzhou taking place March 28–31 at the Canton Fair Complex — the exhibition will bring together global leaders in production equipment, materials innovation and hardware systems under the theme “Connect the World.”

The shift from scale expansion to value enhancement across the home-furnishing supply chain reflects broader industry trends: digital reconstruction, sustainability imperatives and global industrial integration are reshaping how furniture manufacturers compete and operate worldwide. In this context, CIFM / interzum guangzhou positions itself as a leading international platform where production technologies and upstream supply-chain innovation converge with design and market demands.

Three Innovation Platforms Shape Exhibition Strategy

The Platform for Intelligent Production Equipment, located in Area B, showcases global leaders including HOMAG, BIESSE, WEINIG, WEMHÖNER, LEITZ, LEUCO, FREUD, Nanxing, Excitech, QUICK, Fortran and KUKA. These companies will present advanced solutions spanning digital production lines, flexible intelligent processing centers and laser edge-banding technologies, demonstrating the industry’s transition toward intelligent, flexible and low-carbon manufacturing. A new initiative, the Global Debut Gala, will spotlight strategic product launches from leading equipment manufacturers, reinforcing the exhibition’s role as a global stage for innovation in furniture production technologies.

The Platform for Home Design Material Selection, situated in Area C, focuses on CMF innovation, sustainable materials and functional surface solutions. International brands such as Schattdecor, LamiGraf, Interprint, REHAU, RENOLIT, Pfleiderer, SwissKrono, AHEC, HENKEL, BOSTIK and LINAK will present new material technologies supporting customization, upholstery and whole-house design solutions, with emphasis on recyclability, environmental performance and aesthetic innovation.

The Platform for Home Hardware Innovation Experience, located on the second and third floors of Area B, explores intelligent hardware systems and IoT integration. Exhibiting brands including OVVO, Ferrari, L&S Lighting, SACA, TUTTI, Topstrong, GARIS, MEATON and ADAMS will present solutions such as intelligent hinges, hidden slide systems, electric lifting mechanisms and adaptive locking technologies, demonstrating the fusion of functionality, durability and design.

Immersive Experiences and Global Reach Expand

CIFM / interzum guangzhou continues to expand immersive scenario-based experiences that connect technology, materials and design across the entire production-to-application chain. The upgraded CIFF Charm Road 2.0 transforms manufacturing processes into interactive experiences through data testing, material exploration and multi-sensory demonstrations. The CMF Trends International Material Gallery 2026 will present four curated environments exploring materials, colors and textures through collaborations between international suppliers and curators.

The upgraded 16.3 Design “Originality” Hall 4.0 continues to incubate innovative material brands including Yaodonghua, Zhongrun Huayuan, Dilon, Liamax, Moldtec, Jiashijia, Yakco, MOOTFELLER and Tongda, reinforcing the connection between material innovation and original design development. With buyers from 187 countries and regions attending previous editions, CIFM / interzum guangzhou fosters global collaboration through year-round matchmaking initiatives, industry forums, roadshows and promotional activities spanning Europe, North America, the Middle East and Belt and Road markets.
