Global showcase for office and commercial furnishings marks new era of workspace design

18-21 & 28-31 Mar 2024 • CIFF Guangzhou

From the 28th to the 31st of March 2024, the spotlight turns to the latest in office and commercial space furniture at the upcoming phase of the world-renowned fair in Guangzhou. This segment, running concurrently with CIFM/interzum Guangzhou, promises an unparalleled display of the furniture industry’s finest materials, components, and machinery.

Spanning an impressive 240,000 square meters across 24 pavilions in areas A, B, and D of the Canton Fair Complex, the exhibition has expanded by 9% over last year’s layout, establishing itself as the globe’s premier event for office and commercial furnishings. With 1,100 exhibitors ready to unveil their latest innovations, the exhibition stands as a pivotal platform for setting trends and forging global business connections under the theme ‘New Office Fashion, New Commercial Trend’.

Three Distinct Sections Define the Future of Workspaces

The exhibition is meticulously divided into three main areas – Office Environment, Office Seating, and Public Commercial Space – each catering to different facets of the office and commercial space design and functionality.

Area A – A New Vision for Office Environments

Exhibiting brands in the Office Environment section are set to revolutionize workspace configurations with advanced solutions ranging from office systems to smart archives. This area becomes a crucible for innovation, featuring collaborations with leading brands like Onmuse and Kano, spotlighting design trends and fostering R&D within the industry. The ‘Linking Design Star Special Exhibition’ bridges the gap between manufacturing and design, offering a fertile ground for the emergence of new workplace concepts and trends.

Area D – Elevating Office Seating to New Heights

Dedicated entirely to seating, this section sprawls over 80,000 square meters, making it the largest of its kind globally. It places a strong emphasis on ergonomics and well-being, showcasing a broad spectrum of seating options from executive chairs to lounge and reception seating. The International Brand Hall emerges as a key arena for Chinese and international manufacturers to explore the latest trends and access the expansive Chinese market.

Area B – Public Spaces Reimagined

The Public Commercial Space section presents cutting-edge furniture solutions for educational institutions, hotels, and various public venues. With a keen eye on quality and design, exhibitors here address the evolving needs of spaces that cater to cultural, transport, and sports activities, highlighting the dynamic advancements in China’s school furniture sector and beyond.

As the world’s largest exhibition for office and commercial furniture, this event not only showcases the zenith of design and innovation but also serves as a critical junction for professionals looking to navigate the future of workspaces. With its expansive reach and diverse offerings, it continues to be a beacon for the global furniture industry, inviting attendees to explore, connect, and shape the new commercial trends of tomorrow.
