From January to March 2022, the average number of employees for the full range of furniture manufacturing enterprises in Russia (excluding external part-timers) reached 124,550 persons. This represents a 1.5% increase to the corresponding period of the previous year.
The share of medium and large enterprises accounted to 48%, with 59,519 persons of staff. This average is an equivalent of 5.4% increase year-over-year.
The employment indicator at the Russian furniture factories hit its lowest levels during the pandemic year of 2020 and gradually recovers since 2021. The updated numbers and most actual data shall be included into our extended Market Reports.
