In 2020, the volume of machinery and equipment investments of furniture manufacturing enterprises in Russia (excluding small business) reached 7.28 billion rubles. This represents a 74.4% increase year-over-year.
The share of large enterprises amounted to 94.4%, resulting in a total of 6.87 billion rubles, which is an equivalent of 114.5% increase compared to the previous year.
In the meantime, the investment volume of medium enterprises decreased by 58% down to 406.8 million rubles, representing the share of 5.6% only.
The machinery and equipment investments increase consistently in the Russian furniture industry during the recent several years, while the total of 2020 is the record-breaking result.
