CIFM / interzum guangzhou returns to Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China from 28 to 31 March 2026 under the theme of “Smart Revolution.” Co-organized by Koelnmesse GmbH and China Foreign Trade Centre Group, Ltd., the fair will establish a 180,000 square meter trading platform bringing together approximately 1,600 leading global enterprises and attracting more than 220,000 professional visitors. As Asia’s most comprehensive trade fair for woodworking and upholstery machinery, furniture production and interior design, the 2026 edition positions itself as a central hub for industry transformation and global collaboration.

Industry leaders have expressed strong support for the 2026 edition. Five halls covering core furniture manufacturing categories will provide comprehensive coverage of products and solutions. The fair will host international pavilions from Germany, Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Association, American Hardwood Export Council, American Softwood, Malaysian Timber Council, Quebec Wood Export Bureau, Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters’ Association.
Confirmed global participants include leading brands such as Arpico, Aydin Tekstil, Boyet Tekstil, DewertOkin, Ferrari, Henkel, Hueck, IMA Schelling, LINAK, Pfleiderer, Rehau, Renolit, Schattdecor, and Wemhöner. First-time exhibitors include Chiyoda from Belgium, DECOR DRUCK LEIPZIG from Germany, and French wood enterprise Eurochene, alongside the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Industry Forums and Awards
The 2026 interzum guangzhou Award will feature an upgraded jury welcoming internationally renowned architect Naoki Terada to join interior designer Dick Spierenburg, materials expert Sascha Peters, and product design specialist Kristina Meyer. The awards will recognize products in the “interzum guangzhou Exclusive” and “Outstanding Furniture Accessories” categories.
Two major forums will address key industry trends. The Vitality of Sustainable Innovation to Life (VSIL) Forum will focus on “Emotional Smart Manufacturing: Where Emotion Meets Intelligence,” bringing together representatives from companies including Boyteks, byform produktdesign, Henkel, LINAK, Renolit, and Schattdecor to explore the journey from design and supply chain to brand commercialization.
The “Wood Vision — 2026 Wood Veneer Finishing Technology Forum” will concentrate on materials, craftsmanship, and techniques. Industry leaders from ALPI, Mehling & Wiesmann, Sherwin-Williams, and SYGD will share examples of Sino-European woodworking solutions for high-end wood veneer finishing.
