The exhibition featured 2,103 exhibitors from 37 countries, offering an unparalleled showcase complemented by a Cultural Programme designed to generate new visions for the future. Top international markets
China remained the top source country for visitors, although it registered a slight drop compared to 2023 and a sharper decline compared to 2024 — a reflection of the country’s ongoing economic adjustments. Germany ranked second, showing strong growth, followed by Spain and Poland, two markets where Italian furniture exports rose by +4.1% and +9.1%, respectively. Brazil, Russia, France, the United States, India, and Switzerland also secured places in the Top 10.
Emerging markets: Middle East and the Gulf States
Against a backdrop of new US tariffs and international trade tensions, the Salone increasingly focused on emerging markets. Supported by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), the fair hosted 350 major investors, buyers, and contractors from 50 countries, with 27 delegations from Asia and the Gulf region. Attendance from the United Arab Emirates doubled, with 1,801 professionals visiting, while Saudi Arabia strengthened ties through a newly signed Memorandum with the Salone. Japanese participation rose significantly, climbing from 20th to 13th place, aligned with a +2.7% increase in Italian furniture exports to Japan. South Korea maintained a steady presence.
Young talents at SaloneSatellite
The Salone Under 35 segment recorded 8,517 Italian and 6,543 international student visitors — a 38% increase over the 2023 Euroluce edition. The SaloneSatellite reaffirmed its role as a major platform for emerging talent, attracting 39,000 visitors and featuring 700 participants from 37 countries.
As the Salone del Mobile.Milano looks to its 2026 edition, it continues to confirm its role as a critical meeting point for innovation, creativity, and global market expansion in the furnishing sector.
