Pakistan business delegation strengthens trade ties with Uzbekistan ahead of major November conference

A significant diplomatic push for deeper commercial ties unfolded in Tashkent as Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce welcomed a high-level delegation from Pakistan’s Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), setting the stage for what promises to be a transformative business gathering this November.

The strategic meeting brought together Uzbekistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Dilshod Rasulov with RCCI Vice President Fahad Barlas and Chairman of the 36th International Achievement Awards and Business Opportunities Conference Shahreyez Ashraf Malik, marking a pivotal moment in Pakistan-Uzbekistan trade relations.

Rawalpindi chamber’s impressive track record

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry stands as one of Pakistan’s most influential business organizations since its establishment in 1952. The chamber has successfully orchestrated prestigious international events including the International Achievement Awards (RIAA) and Business Opportunities Conference (BOC) across diverse markets including the UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Egypt.

November conference promises major business opportunities

The negotiations centered on the upcoming 36th International Achievement Awards and Business Opportunities Conference scheduled for November 2025 in Tashkent. This landmark event is expected to attract leading companies across multiple strategic sectors including textiles and light industry, logistics and transportation services, energy and green technologies, as well as tourism and hospitality services.

The conference framework will feature comprehensive investment project presentations involving international investors and business community representatives. Participants can expect memoranda of cooperation signings and detailed discussions on joint venture formation opportunities, creating concrete pathways for cross-border business expansion.

This development represents a strategic opportunity for international companies in furniture manufacturing, construction materials, interior and exterior design solutions, and architectural services. The strengthened Pakistan-Uzbekistan business corridor opens new avenues for design innovation exchange, construction technology transfer, and furniture trade expansion. With Uzbekistan’s growing construction sector and Pakistan’s established manufacturing base, this partnership could facilitate significant opportunities for companies seeking to establish regional supply chains, access Central Asian markets, or collaborate on large-scale construction and interior design projects across both countries.
