Uzbekistan and UAE strengthen partnership with focus on trade and investment

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, met with the Minister of Government Affairs of the UAE, Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, who is on an official visit to Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, they discussed the current state and future prospects of their partnership in trade, economics, and investments. They also talked about the next steps to be taken in the ongoing projects aimed at improving public administration in Uzbekistan.

The parties noted the positive dynamics of the growth of mutual trade volumes, which doubled by the end of 2022. They agreed to work more closely together on mutual supplies as part of the preparation for Uzbekistan’s Export Development Strategy.
