Indian billionaire announced his readiness to invest in Kazakhstan

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed in Astana the president of the Adani Group, Gautam Adani, the richest man in Asia and one of the richest in the world, whose fortune is estimated at $129 billion.

The meeting discussed the prospects for the implementation of long-term and strategically important investment projects. Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan is working on the diversification of transport routes and is actively developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. In his turn, Adani confirmed that his company is interested in cooperation with the Kazakh side in various sectors of the economy.
