DOMOTEX 2026 launches this month with a significantly expanded scope, incorporating wall and ceiling systems, paints, wallpaper and sun protection solutions for the first time. The trade fair will bring together more than 170 new exhibitors alongside established flooring brands, creating new synergies across the interior finishing value chain from 19 to 22 January at the Hannover Exhibition Center.
New perspectives beyond traditional product boundaries
The expanded exhibitor mix brings together companies such as Saint-Gobain, PPG Coatings, Lanxess, Meffert Farbwerke, Keimfarben, Erfurt & Sohn and Gardinia alongside leading flooring manufacturers including Egger, Kronospan, Unilin, Classen, Gerflor, ter Hürne and Swiss Krono. This constellation fosters collaboration between materials, applications and target groups, offering visitors a comprehensive market overview while providing exhibitors with new business opportunities and partnerships beyond traditional product boundaries.
Targeted showcases and practice-focused formats
The fair introduces target-group-oriented special showcases and formats designed to drive practice, planning and innovation. The Architects Space offers architects and planners a curated overview of materials, systems and acoustic solutions, while twice-daily Architect Runs guide participants to relevant exhibitors. Practice-oriented formats such as The Work Shop and the Innovation Area focus on real-world applications, new materials and digital tools for skilled trades. The Green Collection signals commitment to sustainable materials and future-proof product solutions.
High-caliber conference program addresses industry futures
The Stage, the central conference platform, hosts leading experts from skilled trades, retail, interior design, architecture and manufacturing who will address procurement, sustainability, acoustics, artificial intelligence in skilled trades, and evolving requirements for planning, execution and marketing. Boxing legend Henry Maske will deliver a keynote address demonstrating how strength, discipline and the will to succeed from elite sports can be successfully transferred to business. The Olympic and world champion will inspire audiences with his principle: “With dedication and commitment, the impossible becomes possible.”
A dedicated conference session focuses on procurement within the German Armed Forces, outlining procurement processes, requirements and business opportunities for companies seeking to engage with public-sector clients. The conference program offers numerous additional high-profile sessions addressing the future of the industry.
