ORGATEC 2026, the leading international trade fair for modern working environments and contemporary office spaces, is demonstrating strong momentum as it heads into its next edition scheduled for 27 to 30 October 2026 in Cologne. Early bird registration, which closed four months earlier than for ORGATEC 2024, has exceeded expectations with approximately 8 percent more space booked and a 25 percent increase in registered exhibitors compared to the previous event.
The event continues to attract a robust international exhibitor base, maintaining the high level seen in 2024. These encouraging preliminary results highlight the trade fair’s enduring importance as a platform for innovation and cooperation within the contract furniture sector and for the workplace of the future.

Evolving Concept and Program for ORGATEC 2026
Preparations for ORGATEC 2026’s event program are well advanced, aiming to refine and expand the new trade fair concept introduced in 2024. Featuring special themed areas alongside the Wherever Whenever – Work Culture Festival, the fair promises to deliver more than a traditional furniture showcase by combining pioneering product innovations with relevant content and experience-driven formats.
Organizational Highlights and Layout
As a biennial global gathering focused on reimagining work environments and contract business solutions, ORGATEC 2026 will be held at Koelnmesse with a clear hall segmentation. Workspace Solutions will occupy the northern halls 6 through 9, while Contract Solutions will be in the southern halls 5 and 10. The Wherever Whenever – Work Culture Festival will again serve as a connecting element across halls 6 and 9, providing a structurally cohesive experience for visitors and exhibitors alike.
