German mattress brands gain dedicated exhibition space

13-16 Jan 2026 • Heimtextil

Heimtextil, the international trade fair for home and contract textiles, is strategically expanding its Smart Bedding segment for the 2026 edition with the launch of a new dedicated area called Sleep & Meet. This newly designed format will occupy approximately a quarter of Hall 4.0, providing bedding retailers, hospitality operators and volume buyers with direct access to relevant companies and new product perspectives.

The expansion has attracted numerous prominent German mattress manufacturers to the fair. Companies including Auping Germany, Bettwaren Stendebach, Erich Werkmeister, ergomed, Femira, Rummel and Schwarzwald Schlafsysteme will make their debut at Heimtextil 2026. Additionally, the EuroComfort Group encompassing Badenia, Brinkhaus, Lück and fan frankenstolz is significantly expanding their exhibition space for the upcoming edition.

“Heimtextil brings the bedding retailers, hospitality and volume buyers together with relevant brands and high-quality products – and offers the ideal framework for establishing new business relationships, recognising trends at an early stage and gaining fresh inspiration for the product range,” says Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt. “We are delighted to be able to provide visitors with a strong and customized offer.”

Industry Association Strengthens Commitment

The German trade association Matratzen-Industrie e.V. is reinforcing its support for the platform by maintaining its dedicated stand presence at Heimtextil 2026. “Heimtextil offers the ideal platform to showcase the innovative strength and diversity of German mattress manufacturers internationally,” explains Martin Auerbach, Managing Director of the trade association Matratzen-Industrie. “Our presence is a clear commitment to this platform.”

The Sleep & Meet area represents Heimtextil’s commitment to strengthening its position as the central platform for the mattress and sleep industry. With its clear structure and high-quality environment, the new format is designed to facilitate meaningful business connections and provide comprehensive access to industry innovations within the bedding sector.
