As the furniture supply industry gears up for SICAM 2024, preparations are well underway in Pordenone to host an enhanced edition of the trade show. With all available exhibition space fully booked, the event organizers have announced significant expansions to accommodate a growing list of participants.
This year, the exhibition space has expanded to just under 20,000 net square meters. This expansion includes the already utilized Hall 5 from the 2023 edition, plus additional space reclaimed adjacent to Hall 8. These enhancements have not only allowed the inclusion of companies previously on the waiting list but have also facilitated the creation of more efficient and effective visiting routes for attendees.
SICAM 2024 will feature over 496 exhibitor stands, with a notable representation of 68% from the “Made in Italy” brand, underscoring the event’s strong domestic roots. However, the remaining 32% of participants highlight the event’s significant international appeal, with Germany, Turkey, Austria, Spain, and other nations confirming their presence.
The robust booking numbers and a reconfirmation rate of over 90% reflect the event’s vitality and its critical role in the global furniture supply sector. Despite the expansion, there remains a waiting list of interested companies, signaling strong ongoing demand and the exhibition’s prominence in the industry landscape.
