The 14th edition of the VIFA EXPO, Vietnam’s largest furniture, home decor, and craftsmanship show, was successfully held in Ho Chi Minh City from March 8 to 11.
The exhibition space covered an area of 40,000 square meters, which accommodated 2,410 booths of 612 companies from Vietnam and 17 other countries and territories, including the UK, USA, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Cambodia.
The exhibition was attended by 18,180 visitors from 117 countries and regions, including 5,729 foreigners from outside Vietnam. The visitors’ structure was 54% Asia, 19% America, 15% Europe, and 12% Oceania. The top 10 destinations of visitor origin were China, USA, EU, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, Taiwan, India, Korea, and Singapore. More than one-third of all visitors attended the exhibition for the first time.
In addition to the booth presentation, essential activities at the exhibition were seminars with the participation of international furniture market experts, including those from Germany, Italy, the US, and Japan.
Also, the organizer’s factory tour program attracted a total of 48 international customers from 10 different countries to visit 11 indoor and outdoor furniture manufacturers in Binh Duong and Dong Nai province. Visitors were impressed by the product quality of the factories.
Finally, the exhibition received its digital extension on the VIFA EXPO online platform.
