Anticipation mounts as the industry gathering approaches

14-18 Jan 2024 • imm cologne

A good two months before imm cologne 2024 opens, the list of confirmed trade fair participants now includes key representatives from the retail and wholesale trade and the associations as well as important marketing partners. These confirmations on the visitor side come in addition to the numerous major exhibitors appearing at the Interior Business Event.

Among the renowned commercial partners who have already announced that they will be attending are Alinea, BUT, Conforama, El Corte Inglés, Friedhelm Schaffrath, IKEA, JYSK, Krieger/KHG, Micasa, Möbel Martin, Next, Nitori, Porta Möbel, Svenska Hem and XXXLutz. The marketers using Germany’s biggest interior design trade fair as a springboard for discovering innovative interior solutions include Aldi, La Redoute, REWE and Tchibo. Purchasing associations such as Alliance, Begros, Einrichtungspartnerring VME, Europa Möbel-Verbund, GIGA and many more besides will also be represented at the event. Their presence is a sign of their confidence in imm cologne as a crucial networking and business platform.

“Despite the widely known challenges arising from the current market situation, the exhibitors’ anticipation is palpable. The confirmations from the major purchasing associations and leading furniture retailers on the visitor side underscore this positive signal. We’re delighted to once again be able to offer trade fair participants this important business platform right at the start of the year with imm cologne,” says Bernd Sanden, the trade fair’s director.

Home: the business platform for the international world of interior design

As a trade-only event with a shorter duration of five days, imm cologne 2024 will focus on efficient business. The industry gathering gives exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to establish new commercial partnerships and nurture existing business relationships. The Home segment of imm cologne serves as a platform for imports and exports in the interior design sector, providing manufacturers with a central point of access to the German market.

Covering everything from on-trend furnishing ideas for young lifestyles to stylish interiors for the ultimate in comfort, the Home interior world presents a comprehensive selection. The showcase will feature sofa and chair suites, armchairs, divans, stand-alone sofas, sofa beds, living room furniture, shelving systems, self-service furniture, children’s furniture, specialist ranges and accessories. The segment’s diversity reflects consumers’ different needs and lifestyles and offers interior solutions for a broad variety of home living requirements.

The Home segment at imm cologne is accompanied by the Sleep and Pure interior worlds. With its highly diverse line-up of exhibitors, ranging from consumer brands to outstanding premium manufacturers, the Interior Business Event covers the entire spectrum of the interior design industry. From 14 to 18 January 2024, imm cologne will once again bring the international world of interiors together in Cologne and set the trends for the coming home decor season.
