At ORGATEC 2024, taking place from October 22 to 25, visitors will get a glimpse into the future of the workplace through the #InspiredAugmentedOffice Focus Area. In collaboration with zgoll:, ORGATEC will present a modern office landscape where attendees can virtually immerse themselves in the workspaces of tomorrow using the newly developed augmented reality app, zintoo:. Spanning more than 1,000 square meters in Hall 7, this interactive space will showcase cutting-edge trends in smart work, collaboration, and the augmented office.

An immersive office experience
The #InspiredAugmentedOffice Focus Area will feature a series of linked “solution islands,” demonstrating how New Work concepts like autonomy, flexibility, and collaboration can be realized in practical ways. These islands will not only serve as displays but as functional workspaces, offering real-world applications of the latest office innovations. Attendees will be able to explore these technologies and then engage with the specific exhibitors whose solutions resonate with them.

Additionally, the exhibition will address the rising demand for mixed-reality collaboration solutions, allowing in-person and virtual participants to engage with content seamlessly.
Enhancing the experience with the zintoo: app
A standout feature of the #InspiredAugmentedOffice is the zintoo: app, which will serve as a digital guide throughout the Focus Area. Visitors can use their smartphones to access augmented content, such as detailed product information, video tutorials, and virtual blackboards, all of which enhance their experience. The app also provides practical tools like virtual indoor wayfinding, helping attendees navigate the exhibition more efficiently.
