New pop-up format all about sleep

8-10 May 2022 • Sleep Cologne

On the way to a “new normal”, few communication platforms are more efficient or better suited to generating business again, providing inspiration and giving fresh impetus than a specialised trade show. Koelnmesse’s events are known for bringing brands and people together to shape today’s and tomorrow’s living environments. And as an exclusive pop-up event for the interiors sector, Sleep Cologne pursues the same goal – which is why, from 8 to 10 May 2022, stakeholders, specialists and decision-makers from the wide-ranging world of sleep will find everything they need for doing great business centred on inspiring comfort concepts in Hall 9: pioneering trends, impressive innovations, interesting contacts and valuable business leads.

A new opportunity for the industry

Sleep Cologne is a unique pop-up format that shines a spotlight on the world of good sleep in all its many facets. Even before the regular date of the imm cologne 2023 interiors fair, this event gives the sleep industry the opportunity to present their most exciting new products to a relevant audience. It provides a shared stage for intelligent sleep concepts, genuine innovations that promote restorative sleep, designs optimised for maximum comfort and the latest sleep-related trends.

The concept is proving successful – as confirmed by the talks held with exhibitors so far. National and internationally known brands for sleeping comfort, like Dunlopillo with Emma, Frankenstolz and Schlaraffia, have already expressed strong interest in the event on the part of German industry.A key benefit of Sleep Cologne is that it can serve as an important solution-finding hotspot for the industry, which is suffering from procurement and logistics problems. The pop-up event is therefore the ideal platform for companies who make a mark with their innovative products – and therefore also for visitors in search of solutions. “With Sleep Cologne in May, we’ve created an innovative format that offers the industry a wealth of business opportunities at a highly relevant time. This undoubtedly unconventional approach was motivated by our belief that, following such a long and difficult period, the industry needs more points of contact and the opportunity to meet face-to-face again in this unusual year,” says Claire Steinbrück, director of Sleep Cologne. “We see ourselves as the industry’s partner – which is why, on our way to an energised imm cologne revival in 2023, we want to use the various pop-up formats to take active steps and provide new impetus instead of taking a wait-and-see approach.”
