Global workspaces align around a business first agenda

27-30 Oct 2026 • ORGATEC

From 27 to 30 October 2026, Cologne will once again host the leading international trade fair for workspace and contract solutions, as ORGATEC brings together a wide spectrum of top brands, renowned experts and a high-calibre professional audience.

With the launch of its exhibitor search tool and the latest hall plan, the upcoming edition offers an early preview of how the event is shaping up. Initial registrations already point to a broad international exhibitor base across the Workspace Solutions and Contract Solutions segments, underlining ORGATEC’s role as a central meeting point for the global office and contract interiors community.

“Given the continuing challenges facing the market, particularly in several key European markets, the current registration figures underscore the international importance of ORGATEC 2026,” says Maik Fischer, Director of ORGATEC. “The trade fair thus remains the key gathering place for companies, industry professionals and decision-makers who are actively contributing to the evolution of new working and contract business environments.”

International exhibitor landscape takes shape

The exhibitor lineup for ORGATEC 2026 is already extensive and continues to grow steadily, giving a clear signal of market confidence in the event. In the Workspace Solutions segment, confirmed exhibitors include ACTIU, Bejot, Belux, Bene, Bla Station, Brunner, BuzziSpace, Chair Meister, JAB ANSTOETZ, Extremis, Forma 5, GROHE, Haworth, Humanscale, INCLASS, INFLOOR-GIRLOON, Interface, Interstuhl, Kinnarps, KOKUYO, Koleksiyon, LD Seating, mara, Mikomax, Molo Design, .mdd, NARBUTAS, Nowy Styl / Kusch+Co, NUMAS, PALMBERG, Pedrali, Sedus Stoll, Sokoa, Thonet, Topstar, Viasit, Visplay and VS Vereinigte Spezialmöbelfabriken.

The Contract Solutions segment also features a strong roster of leading brands. The exhibitor list and accompanying search function are being updated on an ongoing basis, enabling visitors to prepare their trade fair schedules in detail well ahead of October. This early transparency around participating companies is intended to support efficient planning and encourage targeted meetings during the four-day event.

Business centric concept for a challenging market

The economic climate in the furniture and interiors industry remains demanding, with several key European markets still facing subdued investment activity. This situation is also felt in the trade fair business, prompting ORGATEC 2026 to refine its concept as a clearly focused business platform dedicated to the future of working environments and contract interiors.

The upcoming edition places business at the centre of its strategy. The primary objectives are to present innovative and holistic solutions, foster direct interaction between exhibitors and visitors, and support the development of tangible commercial opportunities. ORGATEC aims to provide a reliable environment for innovation, networking and deal making, even at times when market conditions are uncertain.

By concentrating on value creating encounters and forward looking concepts for workspace and contract projects, the trade fair seeks to help companies navigate transformation – from new workplace models and hybrid collaboration to sustainable office fit outs and high performance contract interiors.

Compact hall layout with clustered segments

As part of its sharpened concept, ORGATEC 2026 will feature a more compact hall layout. Product segments will be organised into clearly defined clusters to improve orientation, optimise visitor flows and raise overall efficiency. The restructured layout is designed to make it easier for attendees to identify the most relevant exhibitors and offerings within a shorter time frame.

For visitors, the concentrated presentation of brands and solutions promises a faster route to key suppliers and innovation drivers across all workspace and contract categories. For exhibitors, the new structure is intended to enhance visibility in a quality oriented setting and to encourage direct, face to face dialogue with the decision makers who shape projects in offices, public buildings and commercial spaces.

The current hall plan has been released to give the market an early impression of the new spatial concept. As further exhibitors join the show, the plan will continue to be refined, ensuring a coherent and accessible mapping of the different product worlds on site.

Programme spotlight: Wherever Whenever – Work Culture Festival

Beyond the exhibition stands, ORGATEC 2026 will once again present an extensive programme dedicated to tomorrow’s world of work. A central element is the Wherever Whenever – Work Culture Festival, successfully launched in 2024 and organised in collaboration with Germany’s Interior Business Association (IBA e. V.).

The festival brings together a dynamic mix of talks, panel discussions, workshops, interactive sessions and curated exhibitions. Its aim is to give visitors the opportunity to experience current developments first hand – from new workplace cultures and digital collaboration practices to design approaches that connect physical spaces with organisational change.

For architects, interior designers, planners, facility managers and corporate decision makers, the combination of exhibitor presentations and programme formats at ORGATEC 2026 is set to offer both practical solutions and strategic perspectives on how offices and contract spaces can be reshaped in an ever changing world.
