Starting in 2026, four of Indonesia’s most influential trade exhibitions for the materials, manufacturing, furniture, and interior sectors will be united under a single strategic platform – Indonesia Materials, Manufacturing & Furniture Connect – creating a coordinated industry week that represents the entire furniture industry value chain.
Held between 23 and 27 September 2026 across two venues in Jakarta – the newly opened Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), PIK 2, and JIExpo Kemayoran – this series of co-located exhibitions is positioned as a comprehensive destination for Indonesia’s furniture and interior industries, linking upstream materials and production technologies with downstream design and market-ready solutions.
As part of this strategic alignment, Amara Expo and Koelnmesse GmbH will jointly assume the management of IFFINA+, ASMINDO’s flagship annual furniture exhibition, and will join the organising team of IFMAC WOODMAC, Indonesia’s leading woodworking machinery exhibition, alongside interzum jakarta and the International Hardware Fair Indonesia.
Strategic ecosystem for Indonesia’s furniture value chain
Collectively, this integrated ecosystem is introduced as Indonesia Materials, Manufacturing & Furniture Connect – an industry platform that connects upstream materials and manufacturing with downstream furniture, design, and market-ready solutions within one coordinated week in Jakarta.
On the downstream, market-oriented side, IFFINA+ serves as the leading platform for finished furniture, design, and lifestyle products, giving buyers and specifiers access to a curated mix of residential, contract, and lifestyle collections from Indonesian and international brands.
interzum jakarta represents the upstream segment of the value chain, focusing on materials, components, surfaces, fittings, and interior production solutions for furniture manufacturers and interior industry suppliers. Meanwhile, the midstream manufacturing segment is represented by IFMAC WOODMAC, which showcases machinery, manufacturing systems, and technologies that support industrial-scale furniture production.
Together with the International Hardware Fair Indonesia, which extends the platform into the hardware, tools, DIY solutions, and hand tools sector, the four exhibitions form a strong portfolio of internationally recognised trade fair brands that reinforces Indonesia’s role as a regional manufacturing, sourcing, and design hub for the global furniture and interior markets.
Four co-located exhibitions across two Jakarta venues
The coordinated industry week distributes the four exhibitions across two key venues in Jakarta. At NICE, PIK 2, the exhibitions will focus on upstream and downstream segments and international hardware brands, while JIExpo Kemayoran will host the core manufacturing technologies for the woodworking and furniture industries.
IFFINA+ powered by imm cologne will take place from 24 to 27 September 2026 at NICE, PIK 2 Hall 2–3A, positioning Indonesia as an innovative hub for furniture, design, and craft with global collaboration. The show will also feature outdoor and office categories presented by spoga+gafa and ORGATEC, strengthening its reach across multiple application segments.
IFMAC + WOODMAC, described as a key destination for furniture manufacturing components and woodworking machinery, will run from 23 to 26 September 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran Hall B1, B3, and C3, serving the midstream industrial manufacturing community with solutions for efficient, scalable production.
The International Hardware Fair Indonesia – presented as the global most comprehensive international platform for hardware, tools, and DIY solutions – will be staged from 24 to 27 September 2026 at NICE, PIK 2 Hall 1, linking the hardware and hand tools sector directly with furniture, interiors, and construction-related buyers.
interzum jakarta, the leading trade fair for materials, components, furniture production, and interior design, will be held from 24 to 27 September 2026 at NICE, PIK 2 Hall 3A. With its focus on materials, components, surfaces, fittings, and interior production solutions, interzum jakarta anchors the upstream segment of the ecosystem for Southeast Asia’s furniture and interior industries.
Joint management and aligned industry strategy
Initiated by Amara Expo and Koelnmesse GmbH, the collaboration brings together well-established exhibition platforms with strategic market positions within a coordinated ecosystem that mirrors how the furniture industry operates across its value chain. The alignment preserves the unique character, core strengths, and market positioning of each exhibition, while fostering stronger industry connectivity, cross-sector collaboration, and a more integrated visitor experience.
“This alignment brings together the industry’s key platforms in line with the way the furniture industry operates today,” said Dedy Rochimat, Chairman of ASMINDO. “This initiative supports business development and access to international markets through a comprehensive industry platform that connects the entire value chain from upstream to downstream.”
“This co-location and alignment concept marks an important milestone in the development of industry platforms in Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region,” said Mathias Küpper, Managing Director and Regional President Asia Pacific, Koelnmesse Pte Ltd. “With the strong support of ASMINDO, this initiative strengthens Indonesia’s position as an increasingly strategic manufacturing and sourcing hub, while providing a relevant platform for international and regional industry players to foster business development, knowledge exchange, and long-term collaboration.”
From the design community’s perspective, the ecosystem format also encourages closer collaboration between creative disciplines and industry. “By connecting design, materials, and manufacturing within one coordinated industry week, this platform promotes more effective collaboration across the value chain,” said Adi Surya Triwibowo, S.Sn., M.Ars., Chairman of HDII for the 2024–2027 term.
Curated programmes and knowledge exchange
In addition to the exhibition areas, Indonesia Materials, Manufacturing & Furniture Connect will be complemented by curated programmes including industry forums, expert-led discussions, sustainability-focused sessions, and cross-sector knowledge exchange formats designed to connect different parts of the furniture ecosystem.
As Indonesia continues to strengthen its position as a regional manufacturing and sourcing hub, the integrated industry platform offers strategic opportunities for exhibitors and visitors to connect with decision-makers, industry professionals, and emerging talent across furniture, interiors, materials, hardware, and related sectors.
By linking upstream materials and production technologies with downstream furniture, design, and market-ready solutions in one coordinated industry week, the platform aims to create a more efficient and connected marketplace for the regional and international furniture and interior community.
