ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia successfully concluded its inaugural edition at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center from September 16-18, 2025. The three-day trade fair resulted from a strategic partnership between Koelnmesse and dmg events, combining their expertise and the established ORGATEC and WORKSPACE brands to create a dedicated platform for the modern workplace sector in Saudi Arabia.
The debut event welcomed over 3,500 professionals and featured more than 100 exhibitors from 14 countries, all showcasing cutting-edge workspace solutions. The fair targeted manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors, providing them opportunities to connect with potential business contacts across the region in what represents one of the world’s most dynamic and rapidly growing markets.
“The debut of ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia sends a strong signal of our ambitions for global growth. We are leveraging our extensive expertise and the proven success of ORGATEC in Cologne to establish a new platform in the fast-growing Saudi Arabian market,” explained Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse. “Together with our partner dmg events, we will provide our customers access to a very promising market.”
Market opportunities drive expansion
The Saudi Arabian market, driven by rapid development of mega-projects and infrastructure investments in sports, tourism, and housing sectors, offers significant opportunities for the office furniture and workplace design industry. Major projects like NEOM and New Murabba have significantly driven growth in the construction and real estate markets.
In the Saudi Arabian office property sector, projects worth $4.9 billion are currently under construction, with an additional $4.3 billion in the pipeline. These ambitious projects indicate stable growth in the market for office furnishing and equipment. Furthermore, commercial and residential projects worth $88 billion and tourism and hospitality projects worth $55 billion are planned.
Summit explores workplace innovation
A key highlight of the inaugural edition was the ORGATEC WORKSPACE Summit, featuring over 50 regional and international speakers who explored themes including AI integration, agile workplace concepts, and corporate office design. The Summit presented a vision for the 2035 Saudi workplace, addressing sustainable design and the country’s cultural identity.
“By bringing the ORGATEC brand to Riyadh, we are creating an exciting space where global and regional leaders can connect, exchange ideas and set new benchmarks for how we design, build and experience the modern workplace,” stated Elaine O’Connell, senior vice president at dmg events.
The event showcased technology-driven furniture designs, lounging areas, and office environments that embody sustainability, digital transformation, and overall well-being. It featured workspaces across various sectors including hospitality, healthcare, education, and transportation.
The second edition of ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia is scheduled to take place from September 13-15, 2026, at the same venue and will be co-located with the Hotel & Hospitality Expo Saudi Arabia.
